Open Question: I just lost $400 on my mom's card playing poker?help?

So i've been playing poker and I used my mom's card I thought i could make a quick turn around and have it back before she noticed but i lost it every. I've usually done every right in the past and I think I was just unlucky i'm thinking of trying to double another $200 I don't really have much option has anyone been in this situation?
